From the time Jason Simmons was 17 he has been involved in the excavation industry. From surveying to auto-cad, equipment operator, grade checker and building models, his vast knowledge and experience in all these areas give him an advantage when it comes to bidding and executing the projects that Simco Development Group is involved in. Over his 20 years in dirt work, Jason has built relationships and a reputation with other leaders in the industry. From General Contractors, to business owners from commercial and residential construction, he is a trusted leader in his field. While Jason is the owner of the company, running the ins and outs of business, he is also in charge of our bidding and estimates. He uses a very scientific method in his bidding and is known for very precise and thorough bids so you know exactly what to expect.
Steve grew up in Western Montana, building houses with his dad since he was 12 years old. Once he graduated high school in 2006, he went to work on six miles of highway build including erosion control at the Big Hole River outside of Anaconda, MT. After starting a family, he moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with his wife and two kids. He then began working in the Excavation industry in 2008. Starting out as a pipe layer, he moved his way through learning every aspect of dirt work including running heavy equipment and eventually running job sites and their crews. With Simco Development Group, Steve is our Project Superintendent. With his attention to detail and organized manner, he is well known for making timely plans and running jobs accordingly. Steve is skilled in excavation work, handling our hardest of jobs. From technical digs involving dewatering to MSE walls, Steve can really do it all.
Mary Lyons is a born and raised Montana girl. After starting a family of her own, her and her husband moved to Idaho where she began her career in sales and leadership development. Helping people find creative solutions through sales quickly became a passion. Stepping into her role with Simco as the office manager, she has found her previous career serving a new purpose and has been creatively utilizing her skills. Mary loves spending time outdoors camping with her family and traveling with friends.
